"Return The IPHONE 17 Pro max You Stole" UDA Mp Wamuthende Faces possible Robbery With Violence

A legal dispute could be on the horizon after lawyers acting for a complainant reportedly issued a demand letter to Mbeere North MP Leo Wamuthende over allegations linked to an incident that allegedly occurred in Ol Kalou on July 16.

According to a statement shared by the complainant, the lawyers are demanding the return of an iPhone that they claim was taken during the alleged incident. They further state that court proceedings will be initiated if the matter is not resolved within the period set out in the demand letter.

The statement alleges that the MP and several other individuals were involved in the incident. However, these claims have not been independently verified, and no court has made any finding regarding the allegations.

As of the time of publication, there was no publicly available response from MP Wamuthende or his representatives addressing the claims. It also remains unclear whether a formal police investigation or court case has been opened in connection with the matter.

The allegations emerge against the backdrop of heightened political activity that surrounded the Ol Kalou by-election, where leaders had previously appealed for calm following isolated incidents of violence during the campaign period.

If the dispute proceeds to court, both parties will have an opportunity to present their evidence before an independent judge. Until then, the allegations remain unproven, and the outcome will depend on the legal process.
