George Ruto Finally Reveals His Big Plans for Teacher Cillah After Bold Marriage Proposal

George Ruto has addressed the viral social media saga involving Teacher Cillah, a Kenyan primary school teacher whose playful marriage proposal to him attracted widespread attention online.

He dismissed the possibility of marrying Cillah, noting that marriage is a serious lifelong commitment that cannot be decided through social media interactions.

George, however, revealed that the online exchange had led him to learn more about the teacher and her work.

According to him, he discovered that Cillah is involved in supporting children with special needs at Westlands Primary School.

He said he now plans to visit the school and offer support to the children. The planned assistance will reportedly include football equipment, learning materials and other items.

George explained that the visit was not initially planned but emerged from the attention surrounding Cillah's online activities.

The unusual saga began in early August when Cillah, who is also a content creator, posted a playful video expressing her interest in marrying George following coverage of Charlene Ruto's traditional wedding celebrations.

The post quickly gained traction, prompting George to join the online exchange.

At one point, he asked Cillah for her Teachers Service Commission registration number, a response that appeared to encourage more playful exchanges between the two.

Cillah subsequently shared several humorous posts about their imaginary wedding, including discussions about a traditional ceremony and AI-generated images portraying them as a couple.

The situation took another turn when George posted a message appearing to question who Teacher Cillah was, leading to further speculation among social media users.

George has now confirmed that some of his responses were deliberate and contributed to the online banter.

Despite the attention, the saga also exposed Cillah to criticism online. She later shared details of hurtful messages directed at her, prompting some of her followers to rally behind her.
