Tribute to Kenya's Popular Politician Former MP and Assistant Minister Wakoli Bifwoli

Sylvester Wakoli Bifwoli is a Kenyan politician. He is a member of the Ford-Kenya political party, an affiliate of the Party of National Unity

Before politics, Bifwoli worked as a teacher and was active as a trade unionist. This gave him a strong grassroots connection and a "rebellious but lovable headmaster" persona.

He was first elected MP for Bumula in 2002 on a FORD-Kenya ticket, succeeding Lawrence Sifuna. This was his breakthrough into national politics during the landmark 2002 elections that ended KANU's long dominance.

He Served as Assistant Minister for Lands in Kenya’s Grand Coalition Government.

Known for his witty, comedic contributions in Parliament, which earned him a reputation as one of the more entertaining MPs.
