What Ugandan Pastor Said During Christian-Muslim Debate In A Radio That Resulted To His Death

July 26, 2026
Fresh details have emerged about the death of a 25-year-old Ugandan pastor who authorities say was killed only hours after he took part in an interfaith religious debate that later spilled into heated public exchanges.

According to reports, investigators are treating one participant from the event as a key suspect as they work to determine what led to the fatal attack.

The pastor, whose name has been linked to accounts shared by fellow religious leaders, reportedly died after the confrontation intensified, with tensions between Christian and Muslim communities worsening during the same day’s proceedings and subsequent discussions.

Fellow pastor David Omala described the atmosphere around the debate as becoming increasingly volatile, particularly after two Muslim women publicly converted to Christianity during the course of the event.
